Stone Carving Courses

1 day workshop –  August 19th 2023  – £90

Evening Classes – Monday 6.30 – 9.30pm – £225 for 6 weeks 

Three hour experience / taster session.   Evening or day  £200 for a group of up to 5

 We run stone carving courses throughout the year, suitable for absolute beginners and people with a little more experience.

Some of our courses are 1/2 or one day, some are 2 or more days. Whichever course you book on, it will be a time of working hard and learning new skills and coming away with a sense of achievement. You will create something special to take home and be proud of, and you will have a lot of fun along the way

On our courses each student will be provided with a block of limestone and we will show you all the techniques and guide you through what to do with it. We have tools, safety glasses and everything else you need for carving.

Some courses may have a theme, you can start off with a template if you wish or be creative within the theme.  Other courses will be more open to your creativity, with ideas and templates to hand if you would like to use them. The tutors will be on hand to give as much or as little guidance as you need.

Tea, coffee, biscuits and soup will be provided throughout the day
